The Phase B Reopening Procedures from the Restart Committee was presented. Librarian/CEO will look into the latest provincial reopening plans with the Restart Committee.  The Ontario Library Association are sending out updates on a regular basis.

    Be it resolved that the Board receive the 2021 Library Fees and Charges Schedule as presented with a recommendation that the Mill Room Rental rate remain at the 2020 rate.

The Librarian/CEO reviewed updated with board on the activities of the Library for the month of April and plans for May and June. The Librarian/CEO will provide a proposal to the Board for the reconfiguration plan of the stacks when more information is available.

 

Martin Shipston reported that the Friends are in good financial standing. They have paid for the movie license.  They are looking at different fundraising opportunities. Currently the Friends Executive consists of just Martin Shipston and the Chair Luisa Ciliberto with about 6 people as members.

 

New OBLA Membership – The Library has joined for one year. The membership is $125 but has paid for itself in members attending online workshops.

 

The Downtown Dundalk Revitalization and Proton Street redevelopment consultation was held. Wellington North Library agreement was renewed.
